MISSION STATEMENT

The Brass Ensemble mission is to play, perform, and support local not-for-profit organizations, to give back to the community that gave and did so much for us, while sharing our love for the music we play that got us started and has kept us together to play for you today.

WHO WE ARE

The Ensemble has played at VA Hospitals, Military Ceremonies, the American Veterans Traveling Wall, Nursing Homes, Senior Centers, Funerals, various School Music and Christian Education programs, all while raising tens of thousands of dollars for local not-for-profits in our area. It has been our pleasure to perform 3 years at the Buglers Hall of Fame North American Championships in Bridgeport, CT and the past 4 years at the Great Alliance of Seniors Reunion in Binghamton, NY. The Ensemble is never paid. All performances are done for charity. These musicians consist of past members of the great St. Joe’s Drum & Bugle Corps of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s along with past members from many other great area drum corps organizations from the 1950’s through the present day. We dedicate the music you will hear to all our family and friends, past and present, and to all the military men and women and their families who have sacrificed so much for the freedoms that we all enjoy today. God bless you from the bottom of our hearts.
